Visible Emission Training Spring 2017

Visible Emissions Training-Classroom

Date: April 25, 2017

Time: 8:00am to 11:45am

Location: Environmental Training Center at 2639 East Main Avenue in Bismarck.

The Division of Air Quality is hosting Visible Emissions training. The classroom session is mandatory for initial certification. Persons desiring to attend the classroom session should register by completing and returning the registration form at least one week prior to the course date. The April 5th field sessions are primarily for persons that attend the classroom session for initial certification. If possible, all other persons attending for routine recertification should plan to attend the field sessions on April 6th & 7th. Advanced registration for field sessions is not required. Training and certification is conducted free of charge.

The classroom session will also cover EPA Reference Method 22 that addresses visual determination of fugitive emissions from material sources and smoke emissions from flares.
