Medical Advisory Council

CSHS supports a Medical Advisory Council comprised of up to ten physicians that meets annually in May of each year. The council advises CSHS staff about medical eligibility, covered services, and provider credentialing requirements.

Medical Advisory Council Minutes

Provider Enrollment

In order to have health care visits paid for by CSHS, North Dakota providers must be approved as participating specialists. To start the enrollment process, providers are encouraged to submit a letter of intent to CSHS. Additional documentation may vary by type of provider, but generally the following is submitted for review by the CSHS Medical Director:

CSHS uses the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) for claims processing. Before payments can be approved by CSHS, providers must complete a Medicaid Program Provider Agreement.
