Medical Marijuana Program

Effective April 18, 2017, North Dakota Century Code (NDCC) Chapter 19-24.1 required the Department of Health to establish and implement a medical marijuana program to allow for production and processing, the sale and dispensing of usable marijuana, and medical use of marijuana. The Department of Health's Division of Medical Marijuana is responsible for establishing and implementing the medical marijuana program in North Dakota.

The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) has released draft dispensary application materials for the Medical Marijuana Program. The materials include application instructions, as well as the required forms needed for a complete application. The draft application materials are not to be used for submitting information to the department before the open application period and are subject to change prior to final release.
