Medical Marijuana Program

Effective April 18, 2017, North Dakota Century Code (NDCC) Chapter 19-24.1 required the Department of Health to establish and implement a medical marijuana program to allow for production and processing, the sale and dispensing of usable marijuana, and medical use of marijuana. The Department of Health's Division of Medical Marijuana is responsible for establishing and implementing the medical marijuana program in North Dakota.

The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) Medical Marijuana Program is now accepting applications from entities interested in obtaining a registration certificate to operate a dispensary in the Bismarck/Mandan and Fargo regions. Applicants should ensure they read all instructions and only use the updated application forms.
