Medical Marijuana Program

Effective April 18, 2017, North Dakota Century Code (NDCC) Chapter 19-24.1 required the Department of Health to establish and implement a medical marijuana program to allow for production and processing, the sale and dispensing of usable marijuana, and medical use of marijuana. The Department of Health's Division of Medical Marijuana is responsible for establishing and implementing the medical marijuana program in North Dakota.

The proposed rules for the Medical Marijuana Program have been filed with the state's Legislative Council. The links to the proposed rules and public notice are below. The Division anticipates posting responses to public comments on the Division's website in February 2018.
