Youth Websites Get Outraged Produced by the Massachusetts's Department of Public Health, this site lists many tobacco facts and contains information about the chemicals in cigarette smoke. Get R!EAL Get R!EAL means Resist! Expose Advertising Lies. This site is targeted at Colorado youth 12 to 18 and includes a great tobacco information quiz. Ignite Ignite is a national youth advocacy movement whose primary initiative is to fight for Master Settlement Agreement funds to be used for tobacco prevention programs in the states. Kick Butts Kick Butts Day is the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids' annual celebration of youth leadership and activism. Youth advocates from around the country have contributed to an Activity Guide, sharing activity and event ideas for youth of all ages. you can log in to request the newest guide. Peers Against Tobacco This site is made for kids, by kids, to prevent kids from using tobacco. This Louisiana-based website's mission is to educate youth on tobacco and its affects, to let youth be aware that "Big Tobacco" is targeting them through mass media and to give them the skills to resist tobacco and live tobacco-free lives. Stop Substance Abuse and Violence in Youth (SSAVY) SSAVY is an effort by the West Fargo Public Schools to prevent and reduce the use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs by students in the West Fargo School District. This website has information for parents and young people. Tobacco Free Kids -- Youth Action This website has extensive information and tools to help youth advocates STAND OUT, SPEAK UP, and SEIZE CONTROL in the fight against Big Tobacco. This site is a good resource and organizing tool for youth advocates. Truth This interactive site is loaded with news about "Big Tobacco" and facts about smoking and tobacco.
