Technical Assistance As an aid to hazardous waste generators in North Dakota, the HWP has started a technical assistance program. A facility may request a compliance audit. The compliance audit reviews the same items as a compliance inspection, without the specter of an enforcement action being taken against the facility. NOTE: If, during the compliance audit, the inspector observes gross and flagrant violations of the hazardous waste management rules, the compliance audit will be terminated and the inspector will leave the facility.
