The Asbestos Control Program is actively performing
inspections of asbestos abatement projects and demolition projects in all
parts of North Dakota. Remember, all commercial and public buildings
must be inspected for asbestos prior to renovation or demolition, and the
Health Department must be notified of all demolitions, whether asbestos
is present or not.
Also, please remember that an asbestos abatement license is required
of your company, even if you are just performing inspections or air monitoring.
A copy of this license is required to be on site during the project.
Employees should also be carrying their ND asbestos certification hard cards on them at all
