New or Changed Rules
New rules are those defined as effective within the last two calendar
years and administered by the North Dakota Department of Health.
New changes to existing rules are also included.
The Groundwater Rule (GWR):
When a public water system that uses groundwater as a source has a
routine, positive total coliform result under the Total Coliform Rule
that system must collect at least one ground water source sample before
treatment from each source in use when the positive total coliform
result was collected. For more details about the Groundwater Rule
