Truth Initiative (formally the American Legacy Foundation)

The motto of the American Legacy Foundation is "Building a World Where Young People Reject Tobacco and Anyone Can Quit." Its site is rich with information about quitting, links to recent tobacco news, facts and figures and information about its programs and partners.

American Lung Association

The ALA fights lung disease in all its forms, with special emphasis on asthma, tobacco control and environmental health. Visit this site to learn more about the ALA's tobacco prevention and cessation programs like Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU), a peer-teaching tobacco control program aimed at deterring youngsters from taking up smoking; the smoking cessation program for teens, called Not On Tobacco (N-O-T); and the adult smoking cessation program, Freedom From Smoking.

Americans for Nonsmoker's Rights

Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights is the leading national lobbying organization dedicated to nonsmoker's rights, taking on the tobacco industry at all levels of government to protect nonsmokers from secondhand smoke and youth from tobacco addiction. ANR pursues an action-oriented program or policy and legislation.
